CNA Dual Track Program

Capital Workforce Partners (CWP) funds a CNA Dual Track program at Bloomfield High School to prepare juniors and seniors for healthcare careers.

Key highlights of the Dual Track Program include:

  • Dual Credentials: Students graduate with both a high school diploma and a CNA license.
  • Hands-On Training: CNA training includes clinical worksite experiences alongside academic studies.
  • Workforce Readiness: A credit-bearing elective focuses on career preparation and healthcare exploration.
  • Onsite Support: A case manager provides guidance and instruction throughout the program.
  • Career Pathways: Graduates are ready for healthcare employment or further education.
  • Scalable Model: The program addresses workforce shortages and aligns with state career-readiness goals.

The Bloomfield Dual Track program is funded with ARPA resources through the CT Department of Labor.
